The forest is also home to the famous Batwa who were the ancient inhabitants of the forest before it was gazzetted into a National Park. Bwindi Impenetrable forest is also home to about 400 plant species, 350 bird species and about 200 butterfly species.
On the other hand, The Nile River is the longest river in the whole world which has its source in Lake Victoria the largest water body in Africa covering an area of about 69484 sq.km. Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to your Hotel

Day 2: Drive to Jinja – White Water Rafting Experience on the Nile River
Day 2 of your 5 Days Gorilla Trekking and White Water Rafting Safari Uganda starts with an early morning breakfast. Wake up to an early morning heavy delicious breakfast and prepare for a two hours drive to Jinja located in the Eastern region of Uganda where you will participate in White water rafting, this activity will take the whole day, you will have your lunch in jinja city and later drive back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Relaxation at your Lodge
Wake up early morning on day 3 of your 5 Days Gorilla Trekking and White Water Rafting Safari, have a heavy delicious morning breakfast and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is located in the South Western region of Uganda in Kanungu district. The park has an area of about 320 square kilometers with a population of about 459 Mountain Gorillas and 21 Habituated families. These Gorillas live in different sectors of the park like Nkuringo, Buhoma, Ruhija and Rushaga. Enroute to your destination, you will have a stop over at the Equator line for coffee and take some pictures and then have a heavy lunch stopover in Mbarara or Ajip Hotel, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest and check in to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Gorilla Trekking – Batwa Cultural Experience
Wake up to the sights and sounds of incredible bird species of the Impenetrable forest, prepare yourself for an exciting encounter with the Mountain Gorillas and the Batwa cultural experience which will spice up day 4 of your 5 Days Gorilla Trekking and White Water Rafting Safari. Have your heavy delicious breakfast, wear appropriate clothing like a long sleeved shirt, a pair of karky or jean trousers, water proof boots, a round cap and a heavy sweater to protect through the impenetrable forest and also incase of bad weather. Pack some snacks and drinking water in your back pack to help in keeping you hydrated since this activity may take about 2 to 5 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas. Proceed to the park headquarters for briefing on the Do’s and the Don’t’s of the forest.
While there, you will be assigned a park ranger who will guide you through the trek and also one Gorilla family to look out for. During the trek, you will spot different primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s, red tailed monkeys, baboons and also bird species like the African green pigeon, crowned hornbill, giant kingfisher, cinnamon chested bee eater, Rwenzori batis, crested guinea fowl, great blue turaco, marabou stork, black headed heron, scaly francolin among other bird species. On reaching the Mountain gorillas, you will have only one hour to spend with them, feel free to ask as many questions as possible about these gorillas and return back to your accommodation for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will proceed to the famous Batwa community living within the park and enjoy the Batwa experience and then return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe International Airport or Hotel
