The 4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari is a short but fun-filled safari adventure. On this Kenya safari, you will be able to explore Kenya’s wild side. The Masai Mara National Reserve is among the most visited wildlife reserves in East Africa because of its diversity. The reserve is a lion conservation unit with one of the highest lion populations on the continent. On this 4-day Mara and Lake Nakuru safari, you will journey with the reserve’s big cats. These include lions, leopards, and cheetahs, with high chances of seeing them hunt.
The reserve has four of the big five mammals: elephants, buffalo, leopards, and Lions. The fifth of the big five, the Rhino, is very abundant in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park has both black and white rhinos, and you will see them while on game drives.
You will start the 4-day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari from the Masai Mara for the big game, and also get to witness the famous wildebeest migration. You will then proceed to Lake Nakuru, which is also most famous for its Flamingos. Even though the flamingo population on Lake Nakuru has reduced, there are still many other bird species you can see, including Kingfishers and great white pelicans, among others. This 4-day Kenya Wildlife tour is ideal for honeymooners and safari photographers interested in the big five mammals, wildebeest migration, and overall savanna wildlife. This Safari can be enjoyed any time of the year, but for the best safari moments and wildlife photography, it is best to visit from June to September during the dry season.
The best time to visit Uganda is from June to August and December to February, which are the Dry seasons. Wildlife viewing is at its peak then. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Uganda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and you can’t avoid rain completely. However, after heavy rain, the skies often open up to bright sunshine.
Uganda is a safe country to visit, especially when your part of an organized game drive with private guides, as you will be with us. These tours are designed to enhance your safety and provide you with a well-guided experience. There are, of course, some places to avoid in big cities like Kampala or Entebbe. But – as with everywhere else in the world – you’ll be fine by taking some precautions. Just some examples to be on the safe side, pun intended, don’t explore the city at night without a driver or guide, keep your valuables close to you, avoid wearing prominent and visible jewelry, and leave some things like passports in the hotel safe.
