Bird Watching
A wide range of species can be seen within just few minutes of sitting at Kashari balcony, our frequent flying and singing visitors include the popular Blue-breastfed bee eater, Grey crowned crane, Black headed weaver, Red-faced barbet, African Wattled lapwing, Papyrus gonlek Saddle-billed stork and many more.
Kashari Farm Tour
During the tour, our hotel guide will take you through the history of the farm, the difference species of the cows, some of their names and tell you about the milk production capacity. You can as well book for a milking session during your stay at the resort.
The farm is run on mixed farm basis, therefore expect to see a variety of activities ranging from free range system of chicken raring, Goat farming, Rabbit farming, Turkey farming, Banana plantation, Vegetable growing, Bee farming and many more.

Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park is one of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It is a home to 350 bird species like mosque swallow, blackbellied bustard, bare-faced-go away, Ruppell’s starling, Malachite kingfisher, pied kingfisher, African Wattled lapwing, Saddle-billed stork as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck. At your request, a game drive can be organized.
