The ark lodge found in Aberdare National Park in Nyeri east of the Great Rift Valley, it is a unique charming lodge in the form of Noah’s ark with four viewing decks outlooking a floodlit water hole and salt lick that attracts many mammals. In order not to miss any unexpected animal visitors, night guards will buzz your room if there are mammals at the water hole. For clearer animal views, the ark lodge has a bunker in a circular pillbox-like structure that is just perfect for game viewing and photography.

The lodge has 60 deluxe cabin-like rooms on three levels Deck A, Deck B, and Deck C. 6 singles, 37 twin-bed rooms, 8 double bedrooms, and 9 family rooms each tastefully designed with a touch of African culture. Deck C is the main deck comprising all the lodge’s main facilities like the restaurant and bar, it is also easily accessible for the disabled.
All these rooms are neat and comfortable to fit the client’s needs. Each room has a bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, and large mirror windows for easy game viewing. All the rooms are an inspiration of Noah’s Ark with open verandas resembling ship decks for easy game viewing
