Situated in the north extreme corner of Serengeti National Park in the Lamai Triangle, is the beautiful Singita Mara River Camp. The camp set in 98,000 acres of untouched wilderness in northern Tanzania Inspiring intrepid explorers to make the most of their time in this desired wilderness. It offers visitors a chance to spend time in this stunning yet remote area with one of the highest concentrations of wildlife within the Serengeti National Park. Singita Mara River Camp is nestled close to the awe-inspiring wildebeest crossings which happens usually in the months of July to November. The Camp then closes in the months of March and April when there are long rains.
With endless views of the Mara River, the camp provides guests with an intense closeness to nature. There is prolific game viewing in the Serengeti National Park from the months of June until March with the best months for the migration being July to November. As the Lamai triangle forms part of the Serengeti Mara eco-system, visitors will experience year-round concentrations of big game, big cats, elephants and the vast populations of crocodiles and hippos in the Mara River.
Singita Mara River Camp accommodates up to 16 guests within 6 luxury tents. 2 of these tents are family tents and they consist of 2 tents joined by a short-covered walkway with shared deck. These unique tents are being designed in a bohemian-chic style incorporating lots of light and natural materials with the best quality one would expect from a “Singita” property. Design features include en-suite outdoor bathrooms with a viewing section in the screen wall to provide beautiful views from your bathtub.
