Oliver’s Tented Camp is located about 30 minutes away from Kuro Airstrip. It overlooks the flood plain of the Minyonyo Pools which attracts a great number of animals throughout the year during the dry season. The Minyonyo Pools also known for having a huge elephant population. This therefore makes it a great base from which to explore the untouched southern section of Tarangire National Park. The Tents blend seamlessly into the surrounding vegetation, and they are decorated with the elegant splendor that becomes a traditional Tarangire safari camp. The main area is filled with interesting paper-backs on the surrounding region and its wildlife. A few well worn, deep, leather sofas provide a great place to sit down and soak in your surroundings.
Each of the rooms possess a double or twin bed which are made from heavy locally sourced wood, side tables plus lighting, large woven floor matting, a full-length mirror, sink, and a veranda. Please kindly note that there is no Wi-Fi at the camp.

Accommodations include one family tent (sleeps four) and one honeymoon suite. The camp well situated for the migration and for the dry season when several wildlife congregates around the many waterholes of the park.
Oliver’s Tented Camp consists of a mess area which includes a dining area, lounge, bar and library. Meals here taken communally in the candlelit dining room followed by digestifs and safari tales around the crackling campfire. The viewing deck which overlooks the game-filled floodplain in front of the camp is perfect for evening cocktails or whiling away siesta-time. The décor here is simple and elegant. There are a limited number of local artifacts, throws and hand-woven carpets, as is the furniture. Which includes low comfortable easy chairs, side tables as well as a coffee table.
