Our journey begins as we head northwards to the coastal town of Wlotskabaken for a photo opportunity, followed by an insightful talk and viewing of the Lichen Colonies at the Lichen Fields. Next, we visit the Brandberg Mountains, the highest in Namibia and home to the renowned White Lady rock painting—one of over 45,000 ancient artworks in the area. We’ll take a ±2-hour round-trip hike to see this iconic painting, estimated to be around 2,000 years old.

The next stop is Etosha National Park, which offers diverse landscapes and is one of the world’s top destinations for wildlife viewing. The name “Etosha” translates to “great white area,” a fitting description for the immense dried pan that is located in the park’s center.

We have a full day to explore the park. Each safari day brings something new, and we’re always eager for that special animal sighting. Our focus for the day is to search for the abundant wildlife that resides in the park, particularly around the edges of the Etosha Pan.

This morning, we have some time to relax. Following lunch, we’ll jump on our truck and make our way to the next camp on our Etosha adventure. Soaking in the natural beauty and wildlife that surrounds us.

Leaving Etosha behind, we head to Divundu, where we will overnight along the Kavango River. The Kavango River, which originates in Angola as the Kubango River, morphs into the Kavango in Namibia and is the lifeblood of the Okavango Delta. The river hosts an array of wildlife, from elephants and hippos to crocodiles, and a rich variety of birdlife, offering unparalleled game-viewing experiences.

We start our day with a relaxing boat cruise on the scenic Kavango River. We then cross into Botswana and make our way to Maun, the entry point to the Okavango Delta. Tonight, we will sleep in Maun before embarking on our Okavango Delta adventure.

Those who wake up early can opt for a scenic flight over the Delta, subject to time and weather conditions. After the flight, you’ll be picked up from Maun and transported to the Khwai Conservation area in safari vehicles. Your guide will provide you with details on what to expect during our afternoon mokoro excursion in the Delta.

Today, we experience a full-day game drive in the Moremi Game Reserve. Be prepared for some rough terrain as we navigate this untamed landscape in our 4×4 vehicles. With its varied ecosystems, including wetlands, open waters, grasslands, and Savannah woodland, we aim to encounter a wide range of flora and fauna. As the day winds down, we return to Khwai where we settle in for a good night’s rest.

Today is a long day of travelling. At first light, we pack up and jump on 4×4 safari vehicles, which will take us back to Maun, where we will return to our overland truck. The scenic drive from Maun to Nata covers a route that takes you through the captivating Botswana salt pans.

We continue from the Kalahari sands of Nata to Kasane, where we arrive in time for a satisfying lunch, followed by a brief siesta. In the afternoon, we will set out on a boat cruise to discover the wonders of Chobe National Park. A perfect opportunity to witness elephants in their natural habitat, coming to the river’s edge to quench their thirst and engage in playful interactions.

Continuing our journey, we cross the border into Zimbabwe. Today, you can explore the breathtaking Victoria Falls, locally known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ or ‘the smoke that thunders. Victoria Falls is a quaint town presenting a variety of optional activities for thrill-seekers. For those seeking a more leisurely pace, the town also offers craft markets and charming restaurants, and coffee shops.
